    Rabeprazole sodium 20mg Injection

Rabeprazole is a class of antiulcer drugs known as proton pump inhibitors prescribed for the treatment of duodenal ulcers, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (backflow of gastric contents into the oesophagus), heartburn, erosive oesophagitis (acid-induced injury to the oesophagus lining), Helicobacter pylori infections when administered in combination with an antibiotic, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Rabeprazole has 'Rabeprazole' that acts by inhibiting the activity of the enzyme that is referred to as the gastric proton pump and is involved in acid production. It prevents acid from being produced, heals the ulcers, and stops new ulcers from developing.

    • Rabeprazole inhibits the action of the enzyme that is referred to as the gastric proton pump and is responsible for acid production.
